Our Mission is to Explore the Nature of God and Share it with You.

The Story.

Sailing Psalms began with a lifelong dream to sail around the world which came to life through a calling from God. I found the emptiness of worldly success and life and ultimately the end of myself. That’s when God grabbed me in a powerful way. Looking for meaning in life I went through Rooted at Mariners Church in Irvine, CA which connected me to God, community, and my purpose. With how dramatically God changed my life and how many lives I’ve seen changed for the better I immediately wanted to go into ministry. But God did not open those doors. I heard, “not yet.” God wanted me to spend time ‘with’ Him before I did anything ‘for’ Him. God wanted me to learn who He was and grow more into his character. It’s a lifelong process, but in 2020 he began to open the doors to serving vocationally. And in a series of visions he put buying a sailboat to adventure around the world revealing His nature to the world in word and deed on my heart. And that’s exactly what I did and Sailing Psalms was born. -Ben Cook
